Akeem Langford, swimming for the South African Junior Swimming Team represented South Africa in Nigeria in December. He achieved the following results; 2^nd in the 200m Butterfly, 2nd in the 100m Butterfly, 2^nd in the 50m Butterfly, 2^nd in the 100m Freestyle, 3^rd in the 50m Freestyle.

Nizaam Kafaar, a swimmer of the P.E. Amateur Swimming Club. He received the following 5 medals in the Level 2 Age-group Gala that was held in George in March 2012 : Gold in the 100m Freestyle and 200m Freestyle. Silver in the 100m Butterfly, Bronze for the 50m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly.
